Customer Service Specialists
The Customer Service Specialist will assist customers with issues such as account creation, log-in issues, video playback, test taking assistance, and notary FAQs. The incumbent will also attend to callers in a friendly, courteous and positive manner while supplying basic information. The person in this position works collaboratively with stakeholders, customers, and staff.
The ideal candidate is organized, able to exercise independent judgment, keen for details, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Respond to queries regarding education and testing issues
- Process fee payments
- Assist with customer account access and log-in issues
- Update customer records as needed
- Assist with issues surrounding the education videos and online tests
- Respond to simple queries regarding Ohio notary requirements
- Lead in-person education and testing services as required
Ohio Notary Services, LLC is a partnership of the Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton, Ohio State and Toledo bar associations.
The customer service representatives will work a flexibly scheduled 10-20 hours per week and will be paid at the rate of $12/hour. The ideal candidates have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to deal with clients of all demeanors. Knowledge of the Windows operating environment, Microsoft Office, and general database usage is required.
