Ohio Notary Services, in partnership with the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA), offers training and certification for Notary Signing Agents in Ohio.
What Is a Notary Closer or Notary Signing Agent?
A Notary Signing Agent (NSA) — also known as a Notary Closer — is specially trained to notarize loan documents for real estate transactions. Notary Signing Agents work with the new homeowner to ensure all necessary papers have been signed and notarized so the buyer can take ownership of the home. Title companies, lenders, and signing services must meet strict regulatory standards, and they expect their notaries to comply.
